ABOUT BACKROAD BARS

If you ride, you know the drill.

You’re geared up. You’re ready to go.
Then someone asks: “So where are we headed?
And before you know it, you’re staring at your phone, scrolling through reviews — or worse, ending up somewhere closed. That sucks.

Backroads Bar Guide didn’t start in a boardroom.
It started on the throttle and the back roads — because Shane and I got sick of guessing and waiting for worse options.

We made this thing simple:

  • No endless scrolling

  • No bullshit hype

  • Just real riders sharing real stops worth pulling over for

This isn’t a fancy list.
It’s a tool you actually use on the road.

This guide is for:

  • Riders who like finding something, not just arriving

  • Crews who want different stops, not the same old places

  • People who care more about the road than the phone screen

This project is growing — just like the roads we ride.
And we’re building it with you, not for you.

Giving back matters too.
Each year a portion of Backroads Bar Guide proceeds goes to Honor Flight, helping veterans visit the memorials built for them. Riding gives perspective. This is one small way we pass some of that forward.

Got a bar we don’t have?
Send it in — your stop might be somebody’s next great ride.

Like what you see?
Share it around. Cold drinks and random routes are better with more riders.

Tip: Save Backroad Bars to your phone’s home screen so it works like an app and is always one tap away when you’re ready to ride.

Ride safe.
Ride far.
